Cyber Security & Multifactor Authentication (MFA)

To help protect student accounts, Trident Technical College is implementing added security by using Microsoft Multifactor Authentication (MFA). We have articles that provide instructions for setting up multifactor authentication and security tips to protect your information and account.

If you think your account has been compromised please contact the TTC Helpdesk (843-574-6801) as soon as possible!

TTC Email (Outlook)

The college uses Outlook Office 365 (also known as Outlook on the Web), which offers most of the functionality of the Outlook desktop application with the convenience of being able to access email anywhere with an available internet connection. It offers a much more intuitive and easier to read interface than previous email clients.

Web Browsers

A web browser is a software application used for accessing content from the World Wide Web or a local website and display it on the user's device.

Internet Explorer was discontinued on June 15, 2022, and is no longer supported by Trident Technical College.

Respondus Lockdown Browser

Respondus LockDown Browser is a locked browser for use with quizzes in D2L. It prevents you from printing, copying, going to another URL, or accessing other applications during an assessment. If you cannot find the information that you are looking for here, please take a look at the Respondus Technical Support site.

D2L/Brightspace
